I usually offer a wide smile for anyone I pass who is walking alone. At school, few smile back; so caught up in their own world that they didn't even notice me. Although it only takes 10 minutes or so to get to my classroom, by the time I get there, I feel like I'm in a foreign world where nobody sees me; where I stretch the muscles in my cheeks ( Read more... )
