Ok ok fine Jie....
The day is Saturday, April 1, 2006 and I am tired.
From what I can remember, lots have things have happened in the last month including an emergency room hospital visit, international dinner, and serious workage.
But enough about the past, let's move on to the present! Sister is home and brother has recently purchased Kingdom Hearts II =O. Ben, Matt, Ealeen, Paula plus others are stopping by tonight and I want to go watch a movie! We shall see how the evening unfolds....* the lights dim, the guests enter, franbo unsheathes her cutco knife...* puahahahaaa. I have some idea already.
My life is so different now than when during my pre teen middle school years. Now, I wear size 7 pants, am 5 feet 5 inches tall, and am asian! Oh wait, that's the same as in middle school. Argh! Back in teh day (note how i'm speaking in old person tense) I used to go out with my friends every weekend. Every slot of time had to be filled with some social activity. If not, you were lost and a feather still attached to the butt while all the other feathers fly free. I couldn't stand being alone. My friends were a necessity - not so much for their benefit, but for mine. How selfish.
Today, the average week goes something like this. School, work, church, school, sleeeeeep. Notice how friends isn't even in there? I think I've switched extremes from 100% friend based to almost nill. Perhaps it's a good thing and God is teaching me to let go and spend some time alone OR I've become a horrible person who no one wants to hang out with. God I am so counting on you.
Other than my potentially ruined social life, the whole restaurant business is so slowwww. I've no idea how I am to survive in the real world where everything's about lines and waiting. I am telling you, I thought the plan was to start up shop and start selling boba in the first few weeks TOPS. All we needed was some cups, a boba machine, and a few big straws. How deluded you are, Franbo. DAHDAHDAH! The minimum we're looking at is 3 months as it takes at least 1 month to get the city's approval and approximately 2 months to construct. I mean, are you kidding me??? Three months?! Come on, gimme some paint and a hammer and I'll build a restaurant for you in a week. Tops. =)
Going to Hawaii in about 2 weeks! HEEEEK! Cutting down on the carbs, yup yup. Hey you! Hand over the cookie. One more cookie couldn't hurt, now could it?
So yesterday was Superhero theme night and it was so bomb! I totally whomped Ben and Matt and Andy by turning....GREEN! Mwahahaha. What joy scaring little kids like Ben, Brother, and Clarissa. Hopefully, Ben will share the picture that we took and I can show you how cool it all was. Aha, here it is....not. See Ben's site for pictures!
