When my friend and I first signed on to the Brampton community a while back there was, as always, talk that there was nothing to do here. I remember somebody suggested just choosing a place and gradually changing it's clientelle to 20 somethings so that there'd be a place to go that wasn't filled with ignorant youth or loud mouthed, empty headed,

The problem with downtown coffee shops is Cardinal Leger kids end up messing them up for everyone else
If there is a meet up, I would be willing to go meet people off of here, because most seem to be non-retarded

Actually I think it used to be some sort of Carribean food joint. Like almost everything else in this town it was so nondescript I don't think many people really noticed it from birth to passing. Like the brickyard they built the Brampton Corners mini-mall and surrounding housing district on, the movie theatre on Kennedy that's now some sort of party shop and the lesbian bar that used to be in downtown Brampton, assuming it's existence wasn't just a myth. I think I saw the place once, The Eager Beaver I believe it was called.

Anyway, you're right, it probably wouldn't last too long, assuming it ever took off in the first place. I wouldn't mind meeting some of the people on here either.

I'm a bit busy today but tomorrow I don't have any real plans until the evening. I'll find out then post another reply. I trust we can meet downtown, maybe at the afforementioned Coffee Culture.
