(no subject)
Hello again! I tell ya, this whole "working three days a week" thing is awesome when you're not in school. Here's what I did yesterday: got up at 10:00am, took a shower, did some laundry, studied for the NCLEX, went to the bank and the grocery store, knitted and watched tv, had dinner, went for a walk, knitted and watched some more tv, went out to dinner with friends even though I'd already eaten, and went to trivia night. ROCK.
I'd really like to find out what date I'm taking the NCLEX. I know they won't email me until they get my transcripts from the school, and that takes like four weeks from graduation, but it's very hard to plan around something when you don't know exactly when it'll be taking place. Oh well. I've been studying for it, so it's not like I won't be ready when the time comes.
I had a good Memorial Day weekend. The graduation party my mom threw for me was awesome, and I got lots of nice presents, including a bitchin' stethescope from Pete. I also went to the Nats game and almost got heatstroke, but it was still a good time. One of these days we're going to get a sundae in a baseball helmet before they sell out!
Other than that things have been pretty relaxed. Tonight is the finale of "Lost," which I'm super stoked about. I'll actually be a little sad once the season is over. My friends and I had fallen into a nice routine where we'd all get together on Thursday nights and have dinner and watch "The Office" and "Lost" together. I'm sure we'll still get together and see each other during the week, but it was a nice tradition.
That's about it I guess. I'm looking forward to this being a nice relaxing summer, especially after I get the NCLEX out of the way.
