Hey Guys!

Sorry it has taken me so long to write again but I haven't had anything worth sharing. Well, now I do!!

As a good portion of you know I was asked to be the maid of honor at my best friend Jenny Jardine's wedding where she was marring another friend of mine Ben Hobbs. On Wednesday and Thursday I got my hair cut, on Friday after work I got my nails done. Then I went over to Jenny's house until midnight helping her get things finished and ready for the wedding on Saturday. I arrive at the church where the wedding will be held at 8am. Everyone is already there and makeup is starting to get done. At 9:30 after my makeup is done I leave, (in my slippers) to go and get Nikki so that she can be there at the wedding and Christmas party too. However, when I get to Nikki's house she tells me that she has been sick all night and though she is sorry...she isn't going. So, I go back to the church. Time rolls on and before we know it makeup is done, hair, is done and we are dressed and ready for pictures. Soon, it is time for the wedding. We all line up in the hall of the church with our partners and await Jessica to finish her song.

Our song starts and we begin to walk the aisle. First Francine and Mark, then Meredeth and Pat, Becky and Sam, Kate and Bill, followed by myself (Maid of Honor) and Brent (Best Man). The ceremony was beautiful and after exiting and blowing bubbles on them we took more pictures and then headed to the reception. At the reception we are all introduced as couples and go to the head table. We make our way through the buffet line and dinner starts. We dance, Brent and I make our toasts... (Jenny told me I was not allowed to make her cry...did I? You know it!)

Before we knew it...the reception was over and everyone was tearing down. Well, I left, (still in my dress) and headed right to the University Club for Capital Honda's Christmas Party. I've now been on my feet most of the day and seeing dinner at the reception was at 3:30 and it is now 7...I am hungry again. So it is a good thing that dinner was served at the party. I go in and I start to mingle with everyone say hello and how are ya. Then I make my way over to the back table where Bill, Joe and Joe's friend Phil are sitting and I take a seat. Introductions are made...yada yada. Sweet Home Alabama is played and I grab Misty and go out on the dance floor and begin to line dance. Before I know it, dinner and dessert are over, I have had a Margarita...(really really good!) and I am taking pictures of everyone. Being cute, being funny, being drunk and weird... everyone. We were given a bonus...($50) and during the night they gave away cash prises and a $1,500 trip to wherever the winner decides to go...I didn't win it. However, the number higher than mine was called for $100, then the number lower than mine was called for $50, but Tony, our manager had that number and had to draw again, and he pulled out...MY NUMBER! so I won $50! (For those of you on the slow side...that makes $100). Misty and I sang the Capital Honda jingle for another $25 each! YAY! I was leaving with $125 more than what I came in with!!

Well, toward the end of the night I was asked to dance to the best song in the world...Unchained Melody from Ghost. So there I am on the dance floor and Misty happens to be there with the camera...go figure. In case you are wondering I was asked to dance by Joe's friend...Phil. We ended up exchanging numbers and I gave both him and Joe a ride home....at 12:30...lol.

All in all it was a busy, exhausting, and eventful day. It was great!
