Well, that's... unexpected
Was suddenly and unexpectedly bitten by a rabid and bizzarre future AU plot bunny about 30 minutes ago.

So does anybody know how dolphins have sex?
Though I have to say, every time I start to feel that my mojo is slipping as a writer, something like this happens, I get a little inspiration, and I'm happy again.
I just don't want to research dolphin sex.

I guess it's time to warn the Husband not to fear the browser history again. He'll be like. FTM? Post-operative photos? DOLPHIN SEX?!?!?!

UPDATE: Homosexual blowhole sex, eh, dolphins? Leading the web to comment that you exhibit the only known example of "nasal sex" in the animal world? Dolphins. You are very naughty, do you know that? However that is not important to my story. The blowhole, that is. Well, in five minutes of not very scary research I learned all I need to know about dolphin anatomy, not to mention that, as a bonus, the web seems to think that "homosexual behavior," not to mention group orgies of non-reproductive sexual acts, is (are?) "very common" among dolphins. Go me!
