(no subject)
It's 11:51 on my day off. I'm listening to music. I just heard about lastfm.com. Why haven't I heard about this before???? It's amazing! I'm finding a whole bunch of new bands. Diggin Foals and Editors. Maybe the Editors a bit more. Little bit more out there.
I made an apple sorbet at work. I'm really excited to see how it turns out. I'm gonna use the Pacojet for it. I can't wait to see how it turns out. I might go in early to work on it I thinks. It's nice that i'm on salary and I only get paid for 40 hours or whatever a week. I can go in or stay late as much as I want and it's on my time. It's awesome. I can try new things. Plus I have all the equipment at my disposal to try things where as my kitchen at home isn't nearly as nice haha. Plus I got people to wash my dishes for me :).
I'm going to Wal-Mart tonight with Maria. I think we're gonna get a christmas tree. I'm excited. For the first time in 2 years maybe i'll get in the christmas spirit. Living alone before and my schedule is work, sleep, work, sleep, work sleep, doesn't really do much for the christmas spirit. What's christmas???? :P.
Back to cooking, i'm really getting excited for the first time about pastries. I feel more creative with it then I do food. Maybe that's my calling???? I need to learn it anyways so it's good that i'm excited.
Well off to get some groceries. I have a No Frills next to me and it's the worst. Checking out takes forever cause the cashier is speaking Mandarin and the customer is speaking punjabi. It takes a while. Add in a coupon and all hell breaks loose. I have no patience for it haha.
