Things Never Stay Good
Yesterday I found out that the guy that I've been working with who is two years younger than me, doesn't have a college degree, and dropped out of culinary school is now my boss (Sous Chef). In addition, the guy that left work to go on his externship will be returning Nov 1st as the kitchen manager, also has no degree. That makes me the lowlyest member of the kitchen, in short, absolutely everyone's bitch. What's more is that nobody bothered to fucking tell me. These changes have been in place for over a week. I found out last night after questioning the guy myself because I was suspicious of his refreshed zeal for work. The ironic part is that after spending the last 4.5 years learning how to effectively manage people I'm the only one left in the kitchen to manage. To top it off, I worked till midnight last night and then got only one hour of sleep. I also barely have enough money to make rent this month. FUCK LIFE!!
