AFC Championship Game: Baltimore Ravens 28, New England Patriots 13 (1-1) (13-5) (Sunday, January 20, 2013)
*sighs* Was I disappointed? Very much. Was I surprised? Not so much. In recent years the Pats have come up small in big games. Yesterday was another example with poor offense and once Talib Aquib went out with an injury, poor defense. It's just so frustrating! Tom's window of opportunity is closing (he's 35) and it's too darned hard to get this far. Right now I'm just disgusted but as a fan, I'll be back watching them in training camp come July. *sighs again*
I had a quiet day planned but now I'm waiting for the furnace repairman. Naturally it conks out when we're due for a cold snap!
I'm going to watch part of the Inauguration coverage later. Not too much because it's usually boring until the parade from the White House to the Capitol starts, and there isn't the same excitement as in 2008. Obama has been a disappointment, too. Hopefully he can make some significant change in his second term, but considering the state of partisan politics, I wouldn't bet on it.
The only good thing about yesterday's game was the pre-game interview Tom had with Dan Marino. Oh, well, once he retires he can always go into modeling. Gorgeous! ;)
