I am so glad I found this before going off to bed.

This was wonderful. I am proud of Bruce. And poor Clark...I just wanted to hug him. I can't wait for Bruce to realize just what it is he feels for his slave.

I think Carl is lucky to have left with his head still attached to his body. Damn. Let it be known that Bruce Wayne doesn't take any crap from anybody, *especially* when it comes to his own.

And Clark... As hot as that ending was, I just wanted to haul him up from the floor and make him stop being so damned submissive! O_o *grumbles under breath about barbarous institutions*

I know, he is submissive, but it's a combination of survival technique, a suppression of personality due to memory loss and other things (that eventually come to light in future arcs), and coping mechanism...for now.

This is such an amazing story. I really can't find enough adjectives to do it justice. So wonderfully vivid and creative. And you've created such a deep, moving relationship between Bruce and Clark. Even more amazing considering the context in which you've placed their relationship.

Exploring the Clark/Bruce relationship in this universe is endlessly fascinating.

I found Clark's reactions in this chapter so completely in keeping with the character you've created. The determination not to embarass Bruce again which results him in suffering a terrible beating. And then the desire to be claimed, after being reminded again, brutally, how little power he has over protecting himself.

*nods* He didn't want to disgrace Bruce by being a rebellious slave, and I'm sure he wasn't thrilled with the idea of being dragged back to the whipping post, either. Though if Carl had been seriously physically abusive to Angie, he might have risked it.

This was excellent! I really felt for Clark, having to put up with so much unfairness and humiliation and a beating. I'm glad Bruce tended to his wounds afterwards. I really hope the Batman makes that hateful man pay more than Bruce did.

It was a very hot ending but I was a bit surprised that Clark could pleasure Bruce with a split lip. I had to have been painful for him! I thought it would be Bruce the one taking Clark in his mouth. Next time maybe. :D

Yes, Clark's lot in life contains all of those things.
