LJ is sporadic for me today but it's the first time in three days I've gotten in at all!
Very bizzy working on my pro novel, formatting the manuscript for submission, and I started my SuperBat Big Bang and other projects. :)
Football is back, baby! Training camp opened today, and the Patriots made a huge splash in free agency by trading for Albert Haynesworth, a defensive lineman who has great talent but has screwed himself over the last few seasons. He's not a likeable guy, but football is not made up of choir boys. It's low risk since this isn't baseball. If he doesn't perform, he's cut.
Sad news that Myra Kraft, wife of Pats' owner Robert Kraft, died last week. She was a philanthropic woman who will be sorely missed. She never missed a Pats' game, always shown in the owners' box by her husband's side.
