Wow! Quite The Weekend!
Well, I'm just trying to take it all in! :) The Reds Sox beat the Yankees 2 out of 3 in Yankee Stadium, and the Patriots? They picked up some really good players in the draft and they traded for Randy Moss! Moss took a pay cut (6 mil) and restructured his contract (which he said he would only do for New England) and is promising to be a good little boy in Patriot Land. Okay, he could be gone before the season starts as he is a 'bad boy' and not exactly the epitome of the Patriot type of player, and in football, you can cut players (no guaranteed contracts) but 'bad boys' have come to New England in recent years and shaped up, because otherwise they knew they would be shipped out if they didn't. Randy Moss is a heckuva wide receiver who gives Tom Brady a legitimate deep threat.
If nothing else, this trade has set the sports world abuzz! :)
It's been so beautiful outside this weekend! I spent a lot of time outside divided between yard chores and just enjoying the weather. I focused on sports this weekend but still managed to sneak in some writing. I even managed to post the latest installment of "Wings of Angels".
I was thrilled to see starsandsea inspired by the fic prompts I put up. Thanks, Star, they are all great!
And jen_in_japan did a fantastic Clark/Dick story from a suggestion of mine for her Anniversary Ficathon! *luvs*
I've been having a blast watching the old episodes of Battlestar Galactica and some plot bunnies are nibbling. :)
I have to get back to some Media*West stuff this week and I might even have some time to pick up a book! ;)
