Frankly I was shocked. I really expected to give up on KC by halftime. I haven't watched the Patriots at all this year but do read your posts and knew there were problems, but this was just...wow. KC is NOT that good but everything seemed to click for us offensively especially to the left (right of the Patriots' D). Our D, playing with back up players, amazed me Monday night.
I do feel for you, believe me. It's hard to love a team that struggles. After many years of the Chiefs struggling (last year being an anomaly as we still weren't good, just playing a soft schedule), I'm hoping we're righting ourselves to get back to the way we were in the 1990s. Hopefully your team can find itself as well (just not against us again please! *g*) Ups and downs are a given in sports, unfortunately.
Ha, believe me, I know bad teams! Before the coming of Brady the Pats did have some good teams but there were a lot of bad ones. And before 2004 I figured I'd live a whole lifetime before ever seeing the Red Sox win a World Series! :)
The Pats are just TERRIBLE. If it's lack of talent, they're screwed. You can only coach up minimal talent so far. Poor Tom! He doesn't need this crap at age 37 while Peyton Manning sails along in Denver with talented receivers, running backs, tight ends, and O-Line.
Enjoy your victory. I would. :) Just keep in mind that it was a bit of fool's gold as the Pats were just that bad. Hopefully the Chiefs will continue to do well but don't go by that game! :)
Congrats on the Royals dispatching the A's! Good luck in the playoffs! Definitely rooting for your team as the Sox completely collapsed this year after their World Series victory last year. *rolls eyes*

I know nothing about football except the shape of the ball, but ouch... that score is not pretty. I hope your team can turn it around!
