Round 2's
My bible study kinda got cancelled last Thursday. Half the guys had some sort of intramural football practice or game to play in and the others were invited to another bible study off campus. Since I shouldn’t be going off campus for 2+ hours on my break, I politely declined. Hopefully this won’t be reoccurring much more with the little time that is left in the semester. I am a bit disappointed that I haven’t made any decent friends there yet, but I’m not about to give up now, nor am I going to let it discourage me from wanting to get to know God because that is my priority. They are all very nice and fun people, but I guess I haven’t really found anyone there that’s really looking for friendship.
Another job at the help desk has opened up. I applied for it last time, got an interview, but didn’t get either of the two job openings. So I’ll look over my resume & cover letter tonight and hand it in tomorrow. There are a few other IT related positions open that I might also apply for.
I am feeling much better than I did on Sunday. Just in time for me to give another shot at the things I have previously mentioned, and take on a weekend potentially filled with broomball and poker. My car needs an oil change too.
