Okay, I try do this kinda quick as heading to bed in a minute~ |D
Kazuo. To start with, I'm happy that Tomar found a way to take Kazuo in a whole new direction from his motionless killing machine self. However, that part still lingers in him so the whole beginning of being hit by lightning and expericing emotions and stuff changes Kazuo but also keeps him IC in my opinion which is clever. ^^
In-game stuff has been really interesting to read. I liked at the start how Kazuo's thought process went as gave a good sense of his characterisation that even though he dosen't say a lot it's just like his thinking too which is drone and almost like robotic which I think symbolizes Kazuo. XD Being the main with the plan like the collars and giving himself a challenge really drew me in and wanting to read more to find out what he would come up with next to try and satisfy himself.
Interaction with everyone Kazuo has been with has nearly been good. I have to admit that I didn't think it was great on Yuko's part a little but everyone else seemed fine. The kills have been great in my book too. :D
Now, seeing Kazuo as this like frenzied yet somewhat cute boy I have mixed views on. I like how it's unique and gives the opportunity to see him in a new light but I prefer more to when Tomar wrote Kazuo basically as Kazuo a little. Tomar's got this really intellectual way of writing a character smart but when writing like how Kazuo is now it kinda draws me from his character a little. I think mainly it's how's the posts been written like the childish writing and how basic it seems. The descriptions fine and I don't mind reading it but I don't take it as serious as when Kazuo was... serious I guess. XD
Writing ability fine though. Again, quite basic and could do with a bit of description here and there but Tomar does a but a lot of effort into characterisation and I'm just really curious about what he dow ith Kaz next. <3
Kawada. Okay, try keep this simple. At the beginning Kawada was one of my favourites. The writing flowed very nicely and everything was described brillantly with Rob's usually great writing ability. Characterisation has also been great, both in-game and flashbacks. From the posts I've read I don't see any massive fault, apart from the fact that there are not a lot of posts at all. :P
I know Rob's been busy and all but Kawada really has been a little neglected. There are many other thing that could have been done up to this point which really would have gave a massive boost in everything and if Rob just wrote a few more posts then I might have choosed a miss. It is a little unfair though that nearly everyone who's got this far has written a reasonable amount while Shogo lagging behind and sort of lingering in the background but again, I can understand that Rob does actually have a life as well. XD
In conclusion though, although I fairly like both characters. Kawada has a edge more with writing ability while Kazuo with characterisation but I really am excitied to see what will be the outcome of all this so good luck to you both! :D
