Nerds Everywhere just got royally fucked.
And not in the good way either. Well, it might seem to be in a good way, but trust me, it isn't. It's like that all you can eat fudge buffet. Sure, I mean all the fudge you can eat!! But then again, that isn't really that much. Not without becoming instantly diabetic and going into shock. So to is it with this latest WoW development by Blizzard. Behold, my friends, WoW the CCG. For those not nerdular enough, CCG stands for Collectible Card Game. Remember Magic: The Gathering? Well it'll be kinda like that. (Author's note: If you're not nerdtastic enough to know what WoW is I'd ask that you kindly leave this page and never come back.) So what we end up having is a highly addictive video game, one that consumes billions upons billions of nerd hours per year, releasing a highly addictive OFFLINE game. I think Penny Arcade summed it up nicely. You're evil Blizzard. Brilliant, but very very evil.
