Gaming... Nope :-/
Winter (Christmas) Vacations are coming up, so people are either looking with longing out their windows to icy fields and snowy mountains, or they diligently stare into their computers frantically trying to finish 12 assignments before they use their excess vacation days. In this spirit, gaming was canceled again. The plot finally started moving, and everyone fell off the train. It'll probably be another month before I have the chance to "belly up to the table".
For the few of us that have near perfect attendance and still wanted to play last night, we instead went to dinner and a movie, Narnia. It has been more than half a lifetime ago that I last read the books, so I went in just remembering the allegorical hooks that so many have discussed. It was an enjoyable movie. Many people have said this and I'm inclined to agree, "the movie is LotR-lite."
