Miskatonic University - Aaaah, the elusive MiskU, fought over day and night since I started lurking the forums, finally made into a GC. I don't know if this is, in fact, identical to the original, BUT. In the bottle, it's like walking into a Starbucks right after they just made a fresh batch of espresso. On, though, it's more complex. It's still a coffee blend, mostly, dark and subtly acrid, and if you have any java addicts in your life, it will make them start twitching for a fix. It's a well-sugared black coffee, but has a strong wood note underneath that mellows it down so it isn't just like 'eau de coffee candies'. If you get right up on it and SNORF, it has a sharp leather bite to it, but it doesn't come out in the throw much at all. I don't get any 'dust' or 'paper qualities, though. If you were to take Ouija and replace the rose with coffee, you'd have a fairly good approximation of this scent.
