Venus is one of my very favorite rose scents. I hope you'll give it another try before you give up on it!

I'll give it another try some day. I knew I had a lot on last night from the way my nose was reacting, but still I got only that strange aroma. Bad nose, no cookie.

Congestion and pollen season are evil. (And moving, moving is oh so evil and fills the air with dust. *sneeze*) I just tried on midway. I know my nose is out of wack because it smells sour. I've sniffed this imp before, and I'm quite sure it actually smells sweet! (Oh wait, now it smells sweet again, it seems to be goign back and forth.) Partial congestion seems to muck with the sense of smell. It's like suddenly not being able to see yellow so all yellows are gone and all other colors with even a drop of yellow color look funny. Mrrf. (And my other wrist with the gaueko goes back and forth between OMG amazing and faded to almost nothing. Stupid dust allergies. Grr.)

I bought Venus to layer with Luna - I don't like either one of them by themselves, but layered together, they kinda even each other out. Rose always turns to old lady perfume on me.
