In bottle: Nothing. Or, on second thought: "damp."
On, wet: The faint scent of a spearmint chewing gum wrapper
On, dry: A little minty, earthy. My nose knows it's there--it tickles when I sniff my wrist. But my wrist has the scent of a quick wipe with a damp towel. Or a damp potato.
Well. Someone sitting four feet away from me just turned and asked if I'd opened a rose-scented oil. I don't smell a THING! What the--? Is my nose broken?
I opened Hellcat, and it's as powerful tonight as it was last night. Honey Moon smells the same.
Fifteen minutes: One old dirty rose in a potato bin. Could there be a type of rose I just can't detect? (Horrors!) Maybe the rose-detection parts of one's nose are the most sensitive to late-night congestion? Results of experiment inconclusive at this time.
