The Inquisition...what a show...
My first Inquisition. *sighs happily* I placed one order for me, one for a friend, and received both today. Since we have different shirt sizes, I resolved that whichever bottle was with my shirt would be mine.
And I got the one I wanted! I guess the "burning heart" line in my poem gave away my plea. :D
The Ecstasy of Passion: Bourbon vanilla, red musk, galbanum, ambergris, sweet clove, petitgrain, and golden amber.
When wet, this reminded me of another favourite, The Cracked Bell, with that same kind of almost-evil muskiness. It drives down to a gorgeous red musk-amber-clove, though, and basically announces, "Hi, I am TEH SMEX. Wanna shag?" The bourbon vanilla and ambergris emerge faintly, and the overall effect is a very intimate one. Gorgeous from start to finish, and very, very sexy. I am...um...ectastic, I guess! :D

The Ecstasy of True Love: Patchouli, carnation, peach blossom, frankincense, honeysuckle, and Spanish mandarin.
In the bottle it's almost syrupy, really sweet, but it hits my skin and dries down to a very pretty peach blossom-honeysuckle-mandarin, producing a wonderfully fragrant and innocent burst of fruit-flower loveliness. This reminds me a bit of Fae, in that it ends as almost pure peach blossom with just a hint of other ingredients. It really is a lovely tribute to the essence of true love, and I hope my friend enjoys it.
