it's not my fault i'm such an awful mess and more.
i can't recall the last time i received so many hugs and i like it. man bear hugs are the best.
my first night in Greensboro, i got to witness two black women get into a confrontation in a Walmart self-check out line. apparently, someone broke in line and then boom, eggs everywhere. both ended up on the floor. one woman got the crap kicked out of her. there was also a little blood involved. so this was my official welcome to the city.
in all honesty, i do love Greensboro. there's so much to do. maybe you're use to it, but i come from a small town and with going to college in a small town, i haven't been exposed to this much stuff in my life. i can go to a new place every night. i see things that i've never seen on a regular basis. there's so much to explore and i want to be the explorer.
i love having walks with Kirbi. we talk about the most random crap. i never knew so many parks could exist in one place. being outdoors makes me feel more alive than anything.
i couldn't have asked for better people to live with. we've had so many adventures in the past few weeks. some have been good, some bad. i wouldn't change it for the world though.
this summer has been amazing, but i'm still yearning for more.
Chicago is soon. i'm ready.
