It looks like a woman split in half, one half as a wing and the other one doesn't, but I might be wrong.

I don't think the set designer was that deep. They were probably just looking for "tacky."

ftr the poster immediately hit me as one of those super popular pretty gothic dead girl fantasy posters I see sold CONSTANTLY in music stores.

My first thought was "Luis Royo" but there's not nearly enough ass in that picture to qualify as his work (although it is definitely tacky shit you'd find at a goth shop).
