Ahh, well the week has passed so since I have been officially back in the U.S. The bsb trip in the Philippines for me was cut short for family reasons but the good news is my dad’s health is looking better and better every day. So that’s reassuring. I can’t believe I’m back already, this is too surreal for me. It’s a blessing/happiness/good feeling etc. to me to know that my family, friends, kasamas and such are all here to support me and vice versa.
And since I’m back, I might as well start looking for that new job I need to find, allowing me to move out my family’s house and live more independently. I have no idea what job I’m gonna get but let’s see where a master’s in public health can take me. At least I still have my job in school for now. Exciting stuff just like the upcoming lj blog issues for this summer and upcoming year:
--DC Bart Train TV: coming to a local tv station near you, ahahahah. With the help of co-host “Vicpaka,” we’ll explain exactly what the heck I’m talking about. He’s working on a special segment in San Diego, “Shea/Marvin’s Wedding,” so shout out to all the folks in SD and a special congratulations to Shea & Marvin for their wedding. I’ve been telling folks to catch the garter for me since I can’t make it, hehe.
--Next topic: “How logically the Warriors Will Make the Playoffs This Year.” We’ll break down the positions, needs, and strategies that the boys in blue and gold will need to produce to make a run in the playoffs. Plus, if ure interested, the upcoming fantasy b-ball league and which stars to pick. We can also talk about if anyone wants to play real basketball. I’m down for that, lol.
--Highlights of Summer 2008. I guess the funnest places I’ve been in the bay area, cool movies, and other random things to blog about.
That’s it for now, but in the meantime, if you haven’t heard the Visayan version of the hip-hop/rap song “Low,” check it out, sounds pretty tight, but I’m not sure what the words mean yet. Laterz.
