It's been a while so perhaps I should update. My semester is finishing this week and it has been a crazy one. Here's what I've done:
1. Designed (& implemented) a cursive letter recognition game for children using Flash CS3 & actionscript 3. The person who owns the patent is even interested in it and will be meeting with my group soon. We presented today at OU and everyone seemed to love it. I'll try to post it online if I can.
2. I was promoted to prep at Nordstrom, we got a new chef, we lost that chef, and now I'm getting trained to cook on the line. Wednesday is sandwich and pizza. Alisha hates me because I keep learning new things and she's stuck until they promote her. What she doesn't know is I'll never be as good as she is at this even if our pay was the same.
3. I have an internship with a lawyer that starts soon where I'll be setting up a referral website / portal for lawyers to communicate with each other. It'll be html and php middleware and likely a database on back end. This also has a chance to take off and make money.
4. I learned Adobe Flex 3 with actionscript 3 which is pretty nice. It works well with XML.
5. Alisha and I are aiming to get married on September 25, 2009. With real shotguns.
6. I have 2 classes and an internship left to complete my BS in IT.
7. I had a birthday somewhere in there. I think my last post was closer to that date.
8. I did practice guitar recording and learned how bad my timing is and how little I know about recording.
9. I haven't had caffeine in about a week and I'm sleeping better. It may also be related to the semester being over.

I guess not a whole lot happened but it felt really busy and I hope to find a computer job within the next 6 months, then get married, and finally find a place once I have a stable career. It'll be an interesting year.
