Brang out the old laptop

In general, hard drives should not sound like barking squirrels or have a rattling sound when you shake them, so I think that was the major cause of my old laptop dying. However, I would like to test and see if maybe I can resurrect the rest of the system ( Read more... )

I have a laptop HD, however if there's a chance of it getting ruined I'm not sure I can loan it to you. If there's a minimal chance of something horrible happening to it, you're welcome to borrow it.

I think the hard drive I had just failed is all. It is definitely broken and I doubt that the laptop itself somehow caused it to break. The worst I can think of happening is formatting it if needed, but it may be possible to just pop it in and see if windows loads.

I have a laptop hd you can just keep if you want it.
