There was a time that I wanted to write an entire paper on listening to other people's conversations, particularly catching the tail-ends of them. Here is the end of one that I overheard while walking through TJ Maxx the other night:

"It's got to be funny though, like someone falling off a roller coaster and landing on a box of kittens."
