Returned...
Hey guys!
I know I went big-time MIA...but life kinda got a little crazy and I wound up having to set my journaling aside simply due to lack of time.
But I've come into a little more time now and am hoping to be around more and updating again.
So, here's a brief run-down of what's been goin' on these past few months...
* Performed the leading role in 3 shows. Whew! (Virginia in Clean House, Madeleine in Women of Lockerbie & Viola in Twelfth Night)
* Unfortunately, did not get the internship on the Zodiac that I was hoping for.
* Did, however, get a fantastic internship with Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach, FL. I will be one of their new resident stage managers! Woot, woot! I'm incredibly excited! I start in October.
* Received the Actress of the Year Award as well as the Gerrells-Jackson Scholarship.
* Graduated from the University of South Alabama, Cum Laude, with a major in Theatre Arts and a minor in English.
* Took my certification test with Dueling Arts International for Unarmed and Quarterstaff fighting. I am currently preparing for my Broadsword fight certification as well. Keeping our fingers crossed that I pass the tests and receive my certification.
And that really is the long and the short of what has taken place on my end throughout these past few months. I'm sorry I haven't been around but theatre and school wound up taking large priority and I simply had no time to write anymore.
So! Tell me what you guys have been up to! Im sorry I can't go through my Flist and comment on all the entries I haven't read...but if you have an entry you thinking I would be interested in reading, please please feel free to comment with a link! I'd love to catch up on things!
