After my catharsis last night I actually feel better. I met with an advisor today and she told me that it is possible for me to rehab my GPA enough to stay in school. It may be difficult but it should be within my ability. If I do get kicked out, I can go to Community COllege for two years and then return, but I'd rather not have to leave at all. ( Read more... )

I'm afraid that who I'm with isn't who I want to be with. I'm posting this anonymously so know one knows, not that I mind so much - but just because I don't want anyone's feelings to get hurt. I care a great deal about him - in fact, it's safe to say I love him more than anything - I'd die for the kid. But sometimes I feel like I'm staying with him to not hurt his feelings because practicality isn't really a practice in our relationship. It's a common problem of mine, really. 5/6 guys I've dated because I've felt obligated to date them so they aren't hurt. Maybe it's because I'm non-confrontational (ie; see posting anonymously). I just want out of everything it seems lately.

Okay, kid... it's been awhile, but this is Michelle Gallow... That's right I used to be Michelle Hansen and we had great times in Journalism, but now I'm Michelle Gallow (sorry the newly wed thing hasn't worn off yet). I had my share of PB & J's at the beginning of this semester, but fortunately my financial aid kicked in, even if I had to argue about numbers for a few weeks. (USF is good about that) You should think about the Honors program, if you aren't already in it. You get an amazing priority over others for classes and you can choose awesome professors. About GPA, don't underestimate the power of study groups and tutoring ( ... )

i got a 13 on my music theory test which i worked my butt off for and i was suppose to know what i was doing on it. that was the makeup test, i did better when i didnt know what i was doing with a 36.

im so pissed.
