...why Obama has to act like he hasn't spoken to Governor Blagojevich recently? It really doesn't look good to have to backpedal and call your chief of staff 'mistaken,' especially when talking to someone committing fraud doesn't mean you were also participating in it.

Especially given that there's wiretapping evidence that Blagojevich had no hope

The most pathological thing about Blagojevich is that he definitely knew he was being investigated by the FBI, although I'm not sure he knew about the wiretaps. Nevertheless, he said, to an associate: "You gotta be careful how you express that and assume everybody's listening, the whole world is listening. You hear me?"

It's ridiculous! The man is a crazy idiot. And he thought he was a viable candidate for President in 2016... even while he was talking about wire-taps...
