My life is so hard.

I have fic that I want to post tonight or tomorrow but NO TITLE AUGH. D: I'm so jealous of people who can easily come up with awesome titles; it takes me forever and then I end up hating them.

In other news, I've realised that since joining Skins fandom there are a bunch of new people on my flist but I hardly know anyone's names, and I'd quite ( Read more... )

ugh, I know exactly what you mean. Everytime I had to write a story/article for school, I obsessed way more over the title than the rest of the whole thing. And usually I ended up handing it in with no title at all, because I'm just that awesome and creative. If you're really struggeling, just do it the 'Sigur Ros'-way and call it Untitled #*insert number here*.

And since you're mentioning it, may I go ahead and friend you?

I feel like I might have to resort to that! Even though I'm not a fan of leaving fic untitled. OMG, the worst thing ever was when I had a Shakespeare exam and the professor said we needed to come up with a snappy title for our essay questions. Coming up with a good title under a deadline = impossible.

Sure, feel free to friend!

Thanks :)

For the few fics I wrote myself, I usually chose either one-word-titles or something totally cheesy, which apparently seemed like a good idea at that time. It's like the eighties in retrospect: back then everyone thought it was awesome to own a pair of chastity-jeans and have a hairspray consumption that probably singlehandedly caused the ozone hole, but looking at it now it just was this complete fashion disaster that should never, ever be repeated (yes, I'm looking at you, shoulder pads of death). But I digress.
What I want to say is that I'm sure you'll come up with something appropriate, and I'm looking forward to this story that you'll hopefully post sooner than later.

Boo, I stared at that thing for so long trying to think of something ridiculous to fill in. I'M DISAPPOINTED IN MYSELF.

PS: I have confidence in your fic-naming skills.

NGL, I'M PRETTY DISAPPOINTED IN YOU TOO. ;)

Hee, thanks! Normally I'd go for the old 'steal a song lyric' standby, but I feel like that wouldn't work with the fic ~style. SIGH.

Hi Julia :p Now that I think about it, it does seem a bit weird that I randomly added you (I love your fics that much) without introducing myself, apologies!

I'm sure you'll come up with something fitting as the title!

Hi! And, you know, it's not really that weird - God knows I've lurked in my fair share of fandoms - but I just like getting to know people, that's all. :D

I HOPE SO. Still haven't yet...

That must be kinda strange, to all of a sudden have a bunch of strangers (Hi, btw :P ) knocking on your internety door. Cool idea to get to know us by name, seems odd on the internet, yet seems so logical too. Meh, it's early :P

Hi! ;) It's not really that strange - more so when people don't comment, although I totally understand why some people just like to lurk, and I don't mind. I just like making friends and getting to know people, really!

ALSO I LOVE YOUR ICON. KELSI! ♥

That's perfectly fine, hi! :D

Okay, I'm fairly sure that wooden-spoon!Meg would be the second greatest thing in the world ever (after Meg herself, of course). Someone should get on that.
