Position Summary:

This newly created full-time position provides administrative support for the Executive Director and Director of Development. The successful candidate will both respond to and proactively anticipate the needs of these professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage calendar and travel arrangements
Maintain electronic and paper files
Prepare routine and non-routine correspondence and other written materials
Coordinate meeting logistics, including meetings of the board and its committees
Support all aspects of fundraising and friendraising events
Assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities with good judgment
Patience and flexibility as priorities change
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and DonorPerfect
Professionalism and sensitivity in interacting with a diverse population, including individuals with special needs
An understanding of and a willingness to contribute to our mission and vision
Interest and experience in fundraising/development preferred

Education/Training/Experience:

A proven track record in fulfilling similar duties successfully
Experience in similar organizations is a plus
College degree required
