NEWS Review
Last night was the second New & Emerging Writers Series event. The theme was Focus on Fiction, and three fantabulous writers shared their work (I read, too). Thanks to Poetmom, we have photo documentation of the night.
Here's Robyn Bradley, writer by day, DJ on Sunday afternoons, reading from her award-winning piece, "A Touch of Charlotte:"
Vito Salm, one of my writing group members, inspired all of us when he read a list story entitled "Things I've Been Called to My Face and Behind My Back."
Christine Junge, an MFA candidate at Lesley, read an excerpt from a poignant short story about a daughter who uncovers her deceased mother's affair. I read three dark short-shorts.

Thanks to all who came out and supported the readers! The next event will be a "Mixed Bag" of work by poets, essayists, and novelists on June 27th.
