Great, the creator of the Underworld trilogy is helmed to direct and co-write the Gears of War movies. Oh and by the way, GEARS OF WAR IS THE FIRST VIDEO GAME HE HAS EVER PLAYED!!! This does not bode well, no matter how much he prattles on about the movies being "a harder edged Lord Of The Rings". PS: Rise of the Lycans was good, not great, better then Evolution, but certainly not better then the first film.

Afro Samurai: Ressurection was extremely disappointing. Not even mentioning the continuity errors, the animation was not nearly as fluid or kinetic, the fight scenes, save one, were dull and very generic-samurai-anime-fight-esque and the portrayal of the sole female character was so cliche and misogynistic as to really detract from the overall enjoyment of the movie. And the final fight was a fucking cop out. If they do end up doing another movie/series(which seems likely) they better give us the fight that was hinted at at the end of the first series.
I grew up watching Olympic figure skating with my father, so seeing these jokers in the skating nationals is kinda sad. So scrubby.
