I'm a bit sore atm, and will have to sleep propped up.
The procedure went well, I think. The worst part was the first thing after washing my forehead. They took a 2" needle to my forehead and drove it in underneath horizontally, following the skin, numbing crucial places -but not fast enough. That Lidocane and (something) mix BURNED before it took hold.
Thankfully, I didnt get to see anything after that. They put a surgical drape over my face, only exposing the cyst. What made it uncomfortable was the drape had adhesive on it, pulling and taping my eyes open when they adjusted the drape upward. Because of this I kept getting poked in the eye with fingers on the other side of the drape when they were moving their hands to work on me.
When all was done, they had not prescribed anything other than Tylenol or Advil, and that they were sending the cyst to a lab to make sure that is all it was. Tomorrow, I'll go get Percogesic (asprin related, but stronger than tylenol) since I'm still sore and will likely be worse through tomorrow.
At any rate, it's a small price to pay for being rid of the main source of the constant infections plaguing me all year long.
