Okay, the smiley face stickers on my luggage are finally safely home. I haven't actually unpacked the suitcase yet so the smileys are smiling at me from across the room. I think they are glad to be home and not lost anymore.
Finally did it. I completely cancelled my cable. I had been going lower and lower on the package, starting with digital cable and working my way down finally now to nothing. I don't really watch tv much anyway. And there was only one thing I can think I might have wanted to see this fall. I did want to catch Jason Wiles' appearance in Commander In Chief but oh well. I love the one less bill though. I had one co worker, my friend Michael, look at me like I had committed the most heinous of crimes when I told him I no longer had cable. He was horrified. So I tortured him with it the rest of the day-which by the way was really fun. Anyway, I figured what's the point of paying for something I hardly use. I have some serious writing deadlines to meet and between that and my new second job I wouldn't have time to watch it anyway so it really was a waste.
Amanda thanks for chatting last night and making up for the AIM void recently. It was really good to really talk to you after so long.
It seemed like a few of you were interested in the True Blue book I mentioned and that type of book or subject rather and I have some other recommendations I just have to think about it and make a list of ones I've read in the past. That is, if anyone is interested.
I'm starving so I'm off to the kitchen in search of dinner.
