forgot one thing
I forgot to mention that on the plane ride home I finished the book True Blue organized by Sgt Randy Sutton. It's nonfiction. A collection of short stories by police officers from across the country. Some of the stories are funny and some are heartbreaking, but if you want a close look into the emotional roller coaster ride that being a police officer can be I highly recommend this book. I believe that all the proceeds from the book go to a September 11th fund. The end part of the book has a section called Ground Zero and every story n that section is a story written by a police officer in their own words of their experience that day. The mere fact they shared their inner most feelings and thoughts about that day in black and white is amazing, not even to mention the stories themselves.
