I've finally passed my driving test! It only took me five bloody tests, but I think I'll be a better driver for it. So now I'm buying a car, a nice little second hand runaround me thinks. I'm such a bird about cars, all I really know is I want a little one that's red. I would love a pink one but I'd never sell it and it would make me look even more of a bimbo than people assume I am already. I shall be naming it the Boro Mobile, no longer do I need to rely on a cart pulled by Chancey Bolero and John the Dog. It's going to make my life so much easier once I go back to uni in September. I'll probably still use the bus when I have lectures as it's free and stops really close to the School of Education and parking in Durham is an absolute rip off, almost the same rip off as a season ticket at Geordie Land. But I'll definitely use the car when I'm on placement (if I haven't totalled it by the which in Glindon Land is sadly always a possibility) since your school can be anywhere from Darlo to Morpeth.

In other news, my Mum's cousin died at the weekend, my Auntie Val. She was only in her fifties but at least she's not suffering anymore. We're a very close family despite them living down south, so I'll need to take time off work next week for the funeral down in Milton Keynes.
