call the glass doctor (he'll fix your panes)

So Yesterday was not the best day for me and automobiles. Lord knows it wasn't the worst either, but...
*Danielle and I were turning in to the salvation army parking lot when my car started to make a very disturbing noise. This noise was followed by a large amount of smoke which began to rise up from under the hood. Then anti-freeze commenced to pour from beneath my engine and onto the street, creating a toxic-looking cesspool of neon green sludge. It was as if I had inadvertnetly run over Slimer, my favorite Ghostbusters character. Fortunately that was not the case. Several "good samaritan" men "helped us out" by pointing to the car and uttering things like "looks like you got some car trouble there". Of course Daddy eventually came to the rescue.

*Later that night Megan and I were on our way to nowhere on the freeway (This time I wasn't driving) when our initial plans to exit the freeway were halted by an SUV which decided to rear end us at full speed. After our shock recovery, we made our way out of the car to check on the wrongdoers. This middle aged woman was damn near hyperventilating because their airbags had deployed and that is apparently more frightening than any Vin Diesel movie. She was shaking like crazy so we were being as nice as possible. This situation became almost fun by the end of it all...what with all the surrounding construction workers taking pictures of us and the fireman being the long lost brother of "The Ladies Man". This situation apparently required a firetruck, an ambulance, 3 police cars, highway patrol, and a motorcycle cop.

*Oh...and I've just been informed that Danielle's boyfriend's truck was broken into last night. Shitty car day my friends....
