This morning in psychology we talked about perception, which led to a discussion of the blind and/or deaf. Obviously we had to watch a Helen Keller documentary, which changed my opinion of her entirely. I think we've all watched at least one Helen Keller movie in high school, and we probably all agreed that she seemed like an annoying bitch (or was it just me?). But I blame the actress, whoever it was, because the real Helen Keller I saw today was a sweet old lady who triumphed over seemingly impossible odds. Or maybe it was Jana Erwin's bitch-ass that made me hate Helen. I mean, Helen could even speak, though somewhat inaudibly.
Anyway, my hate for Ms. Keller has come to an end and I now have a much greater appreciation for both my hearing and sight. I couldn't even imagine needing glasses, which oh so many people do. Yea, lucky me....for now.

'Cause Lisa learned a lot from putting on a blindfold
When she knew she had been bad
She met another blind kid at a fancy dress
It was the best sex she ever had". -Belle and Sebastian
