thetenspot 071. TEN things in your bedroom
I have two bedrooms, one at my Momma's house and one at my Daddy's house...the room on this list is the one at my Daddy's.
1. A candy jar is on my desk. It's filled with nothing but red gummis.
2. The black hat my Momma wore when she played Elphaba is hanging on my bed post, the broom is also in the corner. Sometimes I like to wear the hat and "fly" around my room on the broom. *headtilt* That rhymed!
3. My ceiling is painted to look like the sky, and big pretty letters are painted across it. They say my favorite thing ever..."You can't take the sky from me."
4. A big white bookcase is in the corner...it has all my books on it except A Little Princess. That one is on the little white table beside my bed.
5. A dream catcher is hanging on the wall above my bed. Nanny Gypsy gave it to me so it would catch my nightmares in its web before they can get in my sleep.
6. A "microphone" that is sometimes called a hairbrush is on top of my CD's, right beside my stereo. I use it when I sing.
7. My blanket...I've had it ever since I was a baby and can't sleep without it. It's white with green fireflies all over it.
8. This picture Daddy Xander took of me and my Daddy when I was a baby. He made it big like a poster and it hangs on the back of my door.
9. In another corner there is a green and black guitar. It's the first guitar my Daddy Brae ever had. Momma bought it for him when they were teenagers. On the back of it are words that he painted...they are hard to read cause its been so long but they say:
I'll be the rock star
The poet
The wonderland boy
Searching and wandering
You'll be the Diva
The singer
The magic girl
Direct and guiding
We'll be the shooting stars
The artists
The Neverland kids
Growing up not old
From the Brat
To the Poet
Just in time
10. A window, that might not sound special to you...but it is to me. I climb up and sit on the window ledge a lot. Iffen I open the window and sit there my feet touch the roof. Sometimes I read, but most the time I think.
