I'm getting more and more used to the stick shift...and getting more and more used to wanting to replace my Mazda, as frivolous as it seems now since I won't use whatever I replace it with for several months out of the year.
...unless we buy something good enough to replace the Camry to go to Murray.
...which means it would have to be reliable, good on gas mileage, and not very eye sore looking.
...kinda like
this In all seriousness, there's no way I could ever own it, but when one is in the process of looking for something new..it's good to lust. Also, it's not the most practical thing in the world. Even though it gets 30 mpg and is currently up for less than my Mazda was purchased for (of course, it'll be nowhere near that by the time the auction closes). I mean..it's in Texas...and its got six gears. Six gears! Who needs that many, right?
Ah well...in all honesty I wouldn't mind settling for a good '98 Accord five speed or something like that. It's alot more practical, but man an Acura RSX would be real sweet.
In other goings on, I offically have four to four and a half work days left until I'm finished at Arvin Meritor. I'm kinda glad to be finished there, but it'll be weird to leave Dexter. It's starting to feel home-ish. Jessica's dad built me a 'make your own six pack' at the beer store in Sikeston. Apparently he filled it with an assortment of ales, including one limited edition summer brew called 'skinny dipping'...I'll definately have to give it a shot. I might save a couple for the guys back in Murray if I'm feeling benevolent/ not in the beer mood between now and then.
Finally, I've been playing the Sims 2 alot. Three people in a house that're at the top of the Law Enforcement, Science, and Medicine career track at the same time = palatial mansion. Maybe I'll post a screenshot sometime..
