A car metaphor

Sep 11, 2010 07:44

I want to get out of the car, and walk along the median strip, to meet all those others who've done the same and who jaywalk wherever they like.

Despite heading towards a possibly fatal crash, it's hard to convince myself because I can't see over the dashboard, the car feels warm and safe, and I'm child-locked.

The obvious solution within the bounds of this metaphor is to learn to drive. So then, how do you hijack a car driven by the long-forgotten ghosts of your parents?
