So onceuponaland finally has another writing challenge that allows for 500+ words, and I'm so uninspired, IDEK if I can come up with something by the 15th. It's just hard for me to think up fic ideas on my own, and since the 'prompt' is simply 'Write a fic about.... whatever you want', I'm stumped! *gnaws nails

- an avatar ouat xover where regina is the leader of the firenation and emma is a non bender. Emma only has her martial arts skills and her wits while regina has a huage atvantage.

- mahou shoujo emma regina. Enamies at first until they have to join togeater to protect henry

I love this idea, and tbh, in my Leap Year fic, I was going to write in references to a past in which Regina was the leader of the Fire Nation (because it makes SO MUCH SENSE), except the damn word limit was 400 words, so it got cut out.

However, I've only read fics and posts on A:TLA, I've not seen the actual show, I'm not familiar with canon (except through the godawful movie), so I'd be terrible at executing that fic fusion, unforch. >_<

Isn't a requirement of Magical Girls being, y'know, girls? Are adult females even allowed to be Magical Girls?! O.o

Pretty sure a couple of the magical girls are sailor moon were adults. Sailor pluto and the sattlites... nnoha also had magical girl adults.... you can age emma and regina down a bit

Was Pluto the one who had something to do with time? I came across a couple SM/DW crossover fics the other day where their paths crossed because they could manipulate time.

ny ideas? Something that'll allow me to write about Regina and Emma would be good. I flirted briefly with the idea of writing about what'd happen if Regina kept her locked up in a castle, lol, but I can't work out how to resolve that, so it'll have to go on the back-burner.

Speaking personally, I need more 'Belle doesn't remember her past but Mr Gold does' fics. On the subject of Regina and Emma, however, I would LOVE anything that put them both in evening wear. Some kind of winter, Storybrooke government party? Or maybe Henry get sick and they both take care of him? Basically, I'd love anything where those two grudgingly worked together.

I am bouncing up and down at the idea of a villianess moving with Angelina Jolie. That would be beyond awesome.

I always say, that when in doubt, crossover with Doctor Who. The Doctor and [companion] show up and....that's all I've got. But whatever you do, you can do it! ^___^

I think a DW crossover would be fun to read! But so hard to write. O.O Hee, I can't even imagine how Nine would react to this fairytale town...the only problem is that I think the Doctor would want to do everything he could to save the town, like, he wouldn't be able to just visit and then leave them all trapped there, but then how could you even write a resolution to that? Emma is prophecied to be the Savior, but I'm not sure what he and Rose could do to help her save everyone- IDEK if the writers know that part yet!

Thanks for the suggestion, it's pleasant musing over the possibilites...but yeah, I don't think DW is going to work for me, he's too complicated. But I'd love to see fandom's take on it...

I'm in love with Maleficent, so I'm not quite happy with Angelina Jolie playing her, I'm not a big fan. But I don't hate her either, so I'll still watch it, maybe it'll be nice :) Elle Fanning will be cute in this role.

Oh, good point re: Elle. I was just happy someone I liked was potentially gonna get the role, but hmm. She is rather tall and mature for her age, so it might not be that much of an issue. Also, aren't a lot of the Disney princesses young? I hear people going 'stop hating on Snow White, she's 15 in the original story'- which...considering she marries the prince is a bit of a concern. O.o Maybe she's not 15 in the movie? IDEK.

But yeah, Elle and Dakota both have this 'wise beyond their years' thing going, so I think she'd be able to pull it off.
