I have a problem with spending money on food. It is really hard for me to do. I just see it as such a huge waste of money because, as I mentioned to revengent once when I was angsting over spending money mother gave me to buy myself dinner, food is transitory. I see no value in spending money on it, unlike with possessions I can hold onto for years ( Read more... )

I FELT SILLY POSTING THIS, BUT DID SO ANYWAY BECAUSE I KNEW AT LEAST YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND AND HAVE MY BACK ON THIS.

Aww, bb, I'm so sorry your body's betraying you. >_< Noodles used to be my go-to as well, I survived on those for several months myself as well. It'd suck to have one's stomach reject that now. *squishes you*

I still feel bad when I buy it. To me, $6 is A LOT to spend on food.

I KNOOOOW. That $6 has so much potential and then to limit it to a food item that's gonna be consumed and gone is just...gah! I both love and do not comprehend how much can spend that much on getting iced coffee and other drinks. Whenever we go shopping, pretty much, we'll go to a cafe and have something to drink and it blows my mind that she can so casually shell out that much. FOR A DRINK.

I was just buying tea and a scone to last me through the day (until I could go home and eat/I met my mom and she got me food), but I began to feel ill after doing that 4 days a week for a couple of months

a) I seriously LOVE that your mind works exactly the same way as mine. Especially the 'waiting for mommy to buy us food' part.

b) Ohnoes, seriously, what is with your body rejecting the diet like that? >_< Seriously uncool. Maybe if you tried substituting a different kind of scone or similar pastry, that'd be 'varied' enough without forcing you to spend more?
