Sorry if I seem spammy these days, but I always collect things for my weekly post, then it piles up and I don’t end up posting it 'coz it becomes irrelevant. (for instance, I had written a few pages on how the reaction of fandom to Regina as opposed to Rumples annoyed me because it wasn't like she'd even done anything that bad- OH, WAIT. Well, the

IKR? I def think she's pretty, but that she could surpass Charlize? O.o Is that mirror trolling or what?!
Still, the movie requires her to be a threat, so yeah, suspension of disbelief and all. I love that she has a frakking army, though, that's def not the fairytale from my youth! I wanna see how that happens, how she manages to be the center of a war. (mainly, I wanna see Kstew not be passive in something)
I wonder if it'll end in a romance? I know the title suggests it, but then, there is a Prince and the traditional ending pairs them up, so...HMM. Also, I was reading something that describes the Huntsman as her 'mentor', so again. HMM.
I was like, "lol, why does she have pictures of Sarah Palin?"
AHAHA, I love that you were fooled as well! Though that you thought I'd randomly have Palin pictures for no good reason...SIDE-EYEING YOU RN. :P
I'm interested to see this, because I like Palin (for the lulz, of course.)
If it were a parody, I'd be happy, 'coz then I wouldn't have to take it seriously, but Julianne's doing this as a ~real role, not for the comedic value, so I'm kind of headdesking over it. But I'll prob see it in the hope they will be subtly mocking Palin throughout it. (after that bloody interview where she's all like 'these gals who want to play me should think about sending money my way to pay for my son's braces' or whatever, ARGH, they better be incorporating all her idiotic remarks and such)
I think that is a PERFECT casting for yourself!
Ha, thanks, bb! I WISH I had her eyes! And cheekbones! But coloring-wise, it works.
She wasn't a major part of BSG, but I always loved looking at her- not in a creepy way, I hasten to add, just that there's a type of physicality that I love, elegant cheekbones, slender neck, dainty wrists, etc. that she fits.
ETA. zomg, sexy shoot. I wish I could look like this!
It was actually a good thing she came to mind right away, because I'm ashamed to say most of the actresses I love are white. I'm having a hard time just coming up with black actresses in general. Zoe from Firefly, Kate from Sanctuary, Gwen from Merlin...and then I'm drawing a blank.
My cousin did mock me a while back about me being racist for mainly fangirling white actresses, but I blame that on the tv industry not casting enough women of color...(is that the pc term these days? I never know what term to use)
Ellen Page, yesss! ♥ She'd be great to play you! (not that I know what you look like, unless I saw a pic ages ago and forgot, but personality-wise, it'd be a good fit!)

LMAO I didn't think you'd have Palin pictures just because so I was all "lets read this okay. OH that makes much more sense." But yeah, a parody would be cool but I think a serious take on it will be interesting. If she can play her as serious and factual and make people understand Palin and not rage throughout the entire movie, that'd be cool. Like that movie that came out a few years ago, "W" about Bush Jr's life? It was very a good movie. But secret: I don't really hate those politicians as much as my fellow Americans do. idk. I just don't really care, or I either feel some sort of sympathy for them. I'm weird lol.
From the pictures I remember seeing of you, I think it's good! But yeah, she has amazing cheekbones, like are those even humanly natural to have because omg amazing.
Another black actress that comes to mind is Zoe Sal-whatever her name. She was in Avatar and the new Star Trek. But yeah, there isn't that many women of color (I guess that's the PC term? I always kind of say what other people say because I'm afraid of the "AHHH you're white and from the American South, stfuuu" reaction) in stuff. Which, like, I don't get. In TV shows sometimes seems to be one that's in the cast but other than that, there isn't really :/
ACTUAL GPOY
But thank you! I wish I could look like her, she's just so wholesome looking or something. But I picked her mostly because of her height, and her face is kind of shaped like mine? *shrug*

The promos do have her with her dress slipping sensually over her shoulders while soaking wet, so I don't see how he could resist that temptation. Perhaps they'll take a break from war-mongering to go lie in a meadow together? YOU NEVER KNOW. At least Chris Hemsworth is too manly to sparkle
Which, yeah, I heard he's a mentor type too, but I he could mentor her...into his pants.
AHAHA! I hope they get rid of the chainmail first, that could be...uncomfortable.
I think a serious take on it will be interesting. If she can play her as serious and factual and make people understand Palin and not rage throughout the entire movie, that'd be cool
Hmm. Well. I think that's prob what they're aiming for, tbh, 'coz with a 'serious' actor like Julianne Moore (I keep having to say her whole name, lol. I can't even abbreviate to J-Mo 'coz that's what people call Jennifer Morrison! It's cute the little kid on the show refers to her like that in interviews, d'aww), I don't see them making it a 'lowest-common denominator' type parody with the easy laughs and such.

OMG, I never watched that, but I was so pleased for George Bush that they made a respectful film that treated him well instead of going the easy route of lampooning the hell out of him. I actually liked him, idiotic comments notwithstanding, he seemed like a nice enough guy. Hard to believe, given his massive unpopularity later on, but there was a poll once apparently where he was voted the guy most Americans would like to hang out with at a barbecue? Prob why he got elected- just, yeah, that kinda guy's not always the best candidate to run a country. (I think Obama's cool, but I'd prob be too intimidated to chill with him at a barbecue, lol)
Anyway, so obv you're not weird, I feel sympathy for him and others in his position as well. I usually side with the incumbent because while most people go for the underdog, I feel sorry for the person in the spotlight because of the humiliation and all they'll feel at losing, y'know? It's a good story if the underdog makes it to the top, but they're not going to have as bad a time for losing as the current PM/President will. I have too many feelings on this, lol.
are those even humanly natural to have because omg amazing.
I'm glad you share my appreciate for awesome cheekbones, ha!
Oh, Zoe Saldana or something, yeah, she's a pretty big actress atm. Prob the most well-known, I think? (well, there's Jada Pinkett Smith, but she's not been doing anything lately and I only know her 'coz of The Matrix and being Will Smith's wife, lol)
I always kind of say what other people say because I'm afraid of the "AHHH you're white and from the American South, stfuuu" reaction
*snuggles* Yeah, it's a bit of a minefield, awwwwkward, and I get worried about those reactions as well. (being called racist over my views on Harry Potter was...interesting)
Oh, how could I forget that adorable pic? Yes, it totally supports the Ellen Page casting! Aside from the appearance, though, I think you guys both have that quirky humor, alternative, vulnerable-but-determined sort of thing going...
