My every dream hangs in the air like black balloon, I just leave them hanging here to fill the room

Sorry if I seem spammy these days, but I always collect things for my weekly post, then it piles up and I don’t end up posting it 'coz it becomes irrelevant. (for instance, I had written a few pages on how the reaction of fandom to Regina as opposed to Rumples annoyed me because it wasn't like she'd even done anything that bad- OH, WAIT. Well, the time and effort there was wasted!)

So now I’m trying to break my hoarding habit and just be spontaneous and throw things out there as they come. Let’s see how this goes. ^_^

#1. Julianne Moore is freakishly chameleon-like. Apparently she was supposed to play Hillary Clinton…

Good likeness, huh? But she had a schedule clash and gave it up…only to wind up playing Sarah Palin, zomg!

MY MIND IS BLOWN. I COULD NOT TELL THEM APART FOR LITERALLY A MINUTE, I WAS STARING BACK-AND-FORTH IN AMAZED HORROR FASCINATION. I would not have thought she could resemble two such different women that closely, wow. O.O

I’m worried about an acterss I love playing Sarah Palin. On one hand, I think the woman is dumb, so…WHYYY? Otoh…to be shallow, Julianne looks hot, so. Yes. (ETA. Sarah Palin's reaction to this casting.)

Question: who would you want to play you, if your life was turned into a movie? And if you like, pick someone to play me? I’m curious who might come to mind…selfishly, I’d choose the chick who played Anastasia 'Dee' Dualla on Battlestar: Galactica. She’s way too pretty to be me, but hey, it's my wish fulfillment, ok!

#2. I decided to check out Breaking Dawn. It is as hideous a pile of steaming crap as I suspected. ‘twas actual agony to sit through fifteen minutes of it, and that was with some fast-forwarding, too. I don’t know wtf is up with all these interminable pauses and the stuttering in Kstew and RPattz’s delivery! SPIT IT OUT, MY GOD. I kept thinking, ‘This would be so much better if it was the Rifftrax version.’I love those guys.

Although…I’m watching the riff of Eclipse atm and while I’m enjoying it, I had to take a break after the scene with Rosalie. I know Twilight is the dumbest franchise imaginable and I adore sporkings of it, but rape isn’t funny. Maybe I don’t have the right sense of humor and ‘it’s just a joke’, but I think it was tacky and just totally unnecessary for them to make cracks about a woman being gang-raped, damn it. BE CLASSY, GUYS.

#3. Speaking of Kstew...I think she’s an atrocious actor, but wow, she’s pretty.

I’m def checking out Snow White and the Huntsman when it comes out, because man, the eye candy in that cast! Besides her, there’s Charlize Theron and he of Thor fame, Chris Hemsworth.

Jamie Dornan from OUAT, was so adorable when fanboying him, lol:

"Chris Hemsworth is playing the Huntsman and he looks like a proper man...he has the testosterone and the general man-dom. I was watching a lot of pictures with him and his shirt off and with him holding his axe and I'm just a little bit concerned that I'm pathetic in comparison..."

That movie looks appealing ‘coz of the attractive cast and gorgeous scenery and cinematography. But I’m also totes gonna see the Julia Roberts version of Snow White as well. Where the former is melodramatic and tense and angsty-looking, Julia’s is more light-hearted comedic fare. You can see the difference just in their costumes.

Charlize is all in black- RAWRRR, SO EVIL- while Julia's rocking this more cheery, whimsical red. I giggled throughout the Mirror, Mirror trailer, she was just hysterical, my god. LOVE IT.

Lana is still my fave Evil Queen, though. ♥

Vidspam: Remember when the OUAT cast talked about their first film roles and Lana Parilla said, ‘I did a really embarrassing film called Spiders. I had to shoot a bazooka into the mouth of a very large, giant spider…’? Well, here’s the trailer that basically gives away the entire plot of the movie. It is hilariously bad. Enjoy!
