The thing about the penis thing reminds me of a Season 1 Grey's Anatomy episode that I rewatched recently - a girl is brought in unconscious and when they operate on her they find a penis in her stomach - she had bitten it off. Then at the end of the episode this man stumbles into the hospital bleeding from his crotch and obviously gets no sympathy from the docs.
I just realise typing it out like that makes it sound like a really crude storyline but it was actually quite moving and a "you go girl!" story arc.
Oh, that sounds familiar! I'm pretty sure I watched s1 or most of it. Didn't Meredith have to carry the, er, organ around in a cooler or something? O.o Yeah, nobody would react well to that guy, the evidence is pretty damning.
I kinda hope that if- god forbid- I were ever in that situation, I would be able to do whatever it took to get free, but I have this horrible feeling I'd be like a deer-in-the-headlights and be weak and ineffectual. *shivers*
I hope so. *clings* It's one of those things that you hope pretty darn hard never happens to you.
Ugh, I was reading on a flister's page today that some idiot proposed they make women pay insurance if they want to get abortion because of a pregnancy resulting from rape. "We do need to plan ahead, don't we, in life?(...)I have a spare tire on my car. I also have life insurance. I have a lot of things that I plan ahead for." *jaw drop* Comparing rape to a flat tire? I CAN'T EVEN.

Eeek, Covert Affairs! I hope that's coming back soon! Castle and Ment and co have wrapped up, so is it time for Covert Affairs and R&I and etc. to come back? *bounces impatiently*
I watched a couple eps of Jake 2.0 recently, lol, it's so funny how it resembles Chuck, like, a lot and yet it tanked. The dude's so much better off as Augie, though, for real. *pets him*
That is disgusting. Seriously, makes me want to vomit. I am extremely pro-choice in most situations but especially when it comes to rape. I mean, GOD. Why does that opinion even exist?!?!
Yeah! Summer shows! Can't wait for R&I to come back but is it just me but the latter half of Covert Affairs really disappointed me. It's like the whole concept of the show should be AWESOME but then they tried to give Annie too many love interests, I don't ~get~ this whole Ben storyline and why she's obsessed with him and it just generally wasn't as awesome as it should be. Obviously still watching, at least until things get REALLY bad!
It's even worse 'coz it's a State Rep (Kansas), like, not some idiot off the street but a guy that's supposed to represent the people. (article here) I seriously want to punch him in the face. Or like, get a big muscled wrestler who packs more of a punch to deliver it
