After three months, due to random life complications, of not going to the gym, I started up again at the very beginning of January. My muscles screamed, but I accepted that and was ready for it. And then I woke up one day and all my damaged joints were not happy. So I took a few days off from the gym, just did some light stretching at home and a few little low impact exercises until I felt better.
So I went to the gym. And my bad knee gave out after less than 30 minutes and the other joints are in pain again. Pretty much the only exercise I can do right now is light work on the stationary bike and girly push-ups (with wrist brace on).
Another friend of mine said he just got over almost the exact same thing a couple weeks ago so I'm wondering if it is something going around, but that's a bit worrying in its own right as I'm not otherwise sick.
I need to get back to the gym. I want to get back to the gym. I don't like that my body is sabotaging its own well being.
