*ponders* How about Christmas in July? *bats eyelashes*
Hee, that always reminds me of The World is Not Enough. My first and favorite Bond movie, I don't care how much people hate Denise Richards, 'k?
Oh, and...did you check if you have a copy? The Meredith Brooks one, preferably, although I don't think Alanis tampered with the formula much. But the former would be better. Because you pushed me, I decided to put aside this other project I was working on- I'd hit a wall with it anyway, and it was making me tear my hair out with frustration, so it's probably a good time to take a break, lol- and I spent five hours on Bitch yesterday and four hours the day before. Of course, this is me, so all those hours don't mean I'm anywhere near even HALFWAY done, especially with that stupid excuse for a laptop that keeps freezing on me or shutting down WMM for no frelling reason and *headsplodes*. Grr. But I'm working with a copy of the song from an SGA fanvid, in which the vidder left some of the original sound effects and stuff, so unless you want to hear wraith darts and like, Teyla beating the crap out of Ronon [though it looks funny when I'm looking at M and R, heh], if you have a copy of the song, I'd appreciate it. I think the library has it, so don't worry if you don't, but it'd be a lot easier just to d/l it.
Yeah, it's still the tonsils. At least I think that's what it is, provided the doctor knew what he was talking about. I think it is though, my throat's still a bit sore and I've got a lingering cough. Oh well.
Ohhh, darling. *huggles* Stupid tonsils, why do we even have them? All they're good for is getting randomly inflamed and making lives miserable.
EEH. Running around packing and commenting to you in between, lol.
I have it all uploaded and shiny-fied for you, the link's in the other comment over on my journal, and vidding is much more fun than ripping your hair out. WMM is a pain for everybody, the key is saving your file almost obsessively. Every five minutes if possible, sometimes less, because it has a habit of jamming up laptops. [Mine nearly had a heart attack with the couple vids I made.] And this bit with Ronon and Teyla making fight noises sounds absolutely hilarious, especially with M & R on the video xD
All they're good for is getting randomly inflamed and making lives miserable.
*nod* Me and one of my friends who has tonsilitis too have kinda come to the conclusion that they are both evil and wrong. Though apparently they do something for your immune system. [I wish I knew what, it might make me want to rip them out less.] XD
WMM is a pain for everybody, the key is saving your file almost obsessively.
Ahaha, so it's not just me. I save literally after EVERY change I make. Every little clip, every shuffle or new addition, *saves*. And it takes a few seconds to think about it, toys with making me freak out by 'not responding' and then resumes normal activity. SADIST. *glares*
And this bit with Ronon and Teyla making fight noises sounds absolutely hilarious, especially with M & R on the video xD
Hehe, it totally is, because you hear the clacking of the bantos rods and it's that scene where Teyla like, elbows and kicks and jumps to whack him from up high and he's utterly helpless against her onslaught. >:D But the scene is M stalking R and he's all *meep*. Ah, god. *wipes away tears*
Yah, I just googled 'do we need tonsils?' and apparently they're supposed to produce lymphocytes that fight illness, only they're not very effective and end up being overwhelmed by all the bacteria/viruses and crap of everyday life, so they swell up and end up causing illness rather than fighting it. >_< Doctors used to routinely remove troublesome tonsils up til the 1960s but then some idiots decided maybe it wasn't a good idea, so they stopped, but now studies have shown some kids with enlarged tonsils have breathing problems, may snore and even had behavioral problems and showed signs of ADHD [how random is that?] til their tonsils were removed after which these problems were eliminated or reduced. The problem is that doctors don't wanna rock the boat and public opinion about 'unnecessary' procedures could be damaging so they're probably not going to go round removing them like a dentist would a decayed tooth. Which is dumb, but hey. *shrugs*
We've gotta be out of the house for a couple days while there's painting and steamcleaning and other such things done. Grr. They're putting us in a two bedroom apartment so it looks like I'll be sleeping on a couch or a sofa bed.
And it takes a few seconds to think about it, toys with making me freak out by 'not responding' and then resumes normal activity.
*nod* That is exactly what I went through with it. Stupid WMM is a stress headache waiting to happen. I keep telling myself that I should go looking for other software to use but I don't have the time for it lately anyways.
Ohh, you mean the scene where Teyla kicked his butt and it was awesome. *sigh* You know on the one hand, I'm glad Teyla and Kanaan got together because there was no Sheyla [I wouldn't have been able to handle that.] But it also quite thoroughly squished my ability to ship Ronon/Teyla except in the earlier seasons.
Huh. You know I love Google. We've been sorting through all sorts of old junk in our house, and though I'm a packrat, my rationalization is that if it's things I don't likely need anymore, and could always google to get the answers for, it can go away. TBH, I'm feeling perfectly lousy today. *headdesk* I fell asleep while I was trying to pack and woke up a couple minutes ago.
Oh, that's bloody inconvenient! But at least they're putting you up somewhere, I mean, you're not on the streets...and dude, I'm going to be packing up and moving out soon too- our house should be built by the end of this month or early next, if we're lucky!
I didn't get to do any work on it last night, there was some drama at home because I'm meeting Sapphy next week and the parents are all... O.O ...random person on the internet = possible sick perverted psychopath. *eyeroll* Ugh. They're holding me hostage over my exam results, can you believe? Hypocrites. 'Oh, no, dear, don't go because we're afraid we might lose you- but hey, if you get good results, sure, we're cool with the possibility of you being murdered!' >:l
You know, I was never a Spanky shipper but I liked it. I'd never read a fic solely for them, but I didn't mind Sparky fics with a bit of Spanky on the side, you know? It's like with TLW, I'm all about the M/R, but I like having N/V in the background as long as it's not hogging too much screentime.
Anyway, I didn't watch s4/5 so I didn't have to deal with this Kanaan business. Which means I can still watch eps with Teyla beating up Ronon and sigh a little at the shippiness of it all. :D
TBH, I'm feeling perfectly lousy today. *headdesk* I fell asleep while I was trying to pack and woke up a couple minutes ago.
Damn, sweetie, I hope you're back to 100% soon- I'm getting worried that you're always sick or just feeling lousy...it's not symptomatic of some larger illness, is it? *clings*
Oh, moving, that'll be fun. :P Moving is quite possibly the worst torture I can think of, also my chronically unprepared family and our procrastination make it worse.
EEH. Parents are weeird. o_O This is why I'm always so careful though, because mine don't know I'm on LJ, or about any of this really, and I don't need their drama, therefore they can't know.
*g* I've read a couple Spanky fics, but I always kinda thought of them as my secondary ship, I wasn't about to throw a fit if they didn't happen, I'd just prefer it if they did.
I saw one or two of the eps about Kanaan, and honestly the cap I saw of one of his and Teyla's scenes was adorable. I may eventually watch that episode, just to see.
I'm getting worried that you're always sick or just feeling lousy...it's not symptomatic of some larger illness, is it? *clings*
*hug* I'm pretty sure it isn't, I've just been under a lot of stress lately, and that always leads to me getting sick. The doctors gave me penicillin for a week when I was sick, but antibiotics never work as well for me as natural medications do.
Oh, it's worse torture because my family is so organized and obsessive-compulsive. Tempers flare and irrational arguments are had as the parents check, double-and-triple-and-quadruple check everything. I still remember when we were leaving Fiji and on our way to the airport, we remembered leaving secateurs [sp?] on the bathroom window-sill, but obviously it was a bit late by that point, lol.
See, if I was smart, I'd've said I was going to Melbourne with a friend of mine instead of the truth, but I honestly didn't think they'd freak out like this. I mean, my mother wants to come and frakking stalk me across Melbourne, like it's not going to be suspicious if we trip around her at every corner. *headdesks*
Spanky's cute, I like it but it's not all-important to me. I just thought it was doubly a shame that the writers had to go and wreck their ship as well as Sparky. Seriously, they made nobody happy the last two seasons except Keller fans.
I'm lucky stress doesn't have any psychosomatic effects on me. This one time I got a weird purple blotchy discoloration during the Year 12 exams, and I thought it was cool because I was studying psychology at the time and was like, 'Heyyy, I think I know why this is happening! It's like what I studied in the textbook!' :D
*gigglesnort* In my family, the arguments come during and after the procrastination. We've debated at length on the proper method of cleaning a closet. *sporks family* Too many hot-tempered people. secateurs? what's that?
Okay listen girl, you have got to learn how to lie properly, alright? You absolutely must. Because stalking parents are just not cool.
*nods* I tried to like Keller, because it was Jewel, but her character was such a terribly written Mary Sue. I couldn't swing it. And seriously, Rodney and her? Oy to the vey.
LOL! Purple? That might freak me out a bit. Then again, it'd probably just look like a wacky bruise or something...
In my family, the arguments come during and after the procrastination.
Ah, so you don't get to escape the arguments, then, lol. I assumed procrastion=easy-going. :P
Secateurs- the garden scissors/clippers? That you use to like, prune rose bushes and the like?
Okay listen girl, you have got to learn how to lie properly, alright? You absolutely must. Because stalking parents are just not cool.
*eyeroll* TELL ME ABOUT IT. I'M LIVING THIS NIGHTMARE.
I tried to like Keller, because it was Jewel, but her character was such a terribly written Mary Sue.
I do everything opposite to most of fandom- I went from SG-1 to Farscape, and I went from SGA to Firefly. So I started off hating everything about Keller, including her actress, to developing a soft spot for Jewel. Kaylee is way too focused on sex to be a favorite of mine, but she's so cute!
Oy to the vey.
O.o Interesting. I quite like this- although is that deliberate, like, a new catchphrase or is there a missing letter? Because should I copy it, I'd like to be able to say 'oh yeah, it's a deliberate thing, not an error'. I love how on the internet, you can excuse anything away as 'just the way it's done', it doesn't have to be right!
Purple-ish...? Considering my skin color, I don't usually get bruises, so on the rare occasion there is the slightest discoloration, I'm like, O_O 'ZOMG, COOL'. Ah, self, you are wack. *facepalm*
No, we're awfully highstrung despite the procrastination. XD
Ahh. Kay. We just call them pruning shears here or garden scissors or something, hehe.
You need a poker face *nods* Nevermind that I've never played poker, you need one.
So I started off hating everything about Keller, including her actress, to developing a soft spot for Jewel.
:D She is totally adorable, yeah. Who knows? If I watch the seasons in their entirety instead of just an ep here or there, my opinion could change, hehe.

*giggles* No, it's just something Chelsea and I usually say. Because I have this habit of saying "OY!" or "oy vey!" and then one day she changed it up and it became 'oy to the vey'. The silliness we get into is rather crackish.
Yeah, when I get bruised, it looks wacky, especially if I've been out in the sun because I tan. I've already got medium dark skin and then I get these wacky bruise splotches. Not cool *shakes head*
Hee, that always reminds me of The World is Not Enough. My first and favorite Bond movie, I don't care how much people hate Denise Richards, 'k?
